You are a Gift!

This story just came across in a magazine and it clicked on me! Hope it does the same for you!!
This old poet used to take early morning walks along the beach to reach his favorite high mounted rock station. That's where he used to sit and meditate and scribble the words that nature whispered to him.
He was walking as usual that day also, when he noticed a man dancing near the waves! Its too early for someone to dance start the day, he thought. As he went nearer, he could see that the man was not dancing, but picking something from the sand and throwing it into the sea. He could see that he was picking up starfish which were left on the shore, by the tide water. Usually they die there or will be eaten up!!!
He said "young man, the entire shore, stretching miles, is full of star fish. Do you think that you are accomplishing something with what you are doing? Why don't you do something fruitful? what difference are you going to make with what you are doing?"
The young man listened to him, then calmly picked up the next starfish and threw it into the life of the sea, and said " Well it made a difference to that fish"
Each of us have a gift in the core of our inner self, with which we can make a difference to the world we live in. Once we become aware of the gift, we can joyfully deliver it. All the rest follows.
